The Friends for Animals Adoption Shelter is a small, non-profit 501©(3), no-kill shelter in Granbury, TX, 35 miles SW of Ft. Worth. We operate out of a small frame house on about 4.08 acres of land. We have inside/outside dog kennels, a separate isolation building, and numerous covered yard runs in our backyard area, which can house 20+ dogs/puppies, depending on size.
There is an interview and an adoption application and agreement to complete and sign (not available online). The adoption fee is $125. The adopter must be at least 21 years of age. Any exceptions must be approved by Shelter Director or shelter representative. If the adopter is a renter, we need verification that he/she can have a dog. Friends for Animals reserves the right to refuse adoption to any individual.
