Hill Hounds Rescue and Animal Sanctuary, Inc. is a non-profit organization established with an objective to provide safe, temporary or permanent homes for cats and dogs when their owners are not able to take care of them and to help animal shelters by taking in the less adoptable animals. Our aim is also to educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering and the role it plays in decreasing the amount of homeless animals euthanized each year. Hill Hounds is a 501(c)3, private, non-profit organization and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Very poor communication. Ready, willing and able long-time dog rescuer and they wont even respond to the simplest inquiry. We are willing to take older or special needs dogs and get zero response.

I adopted Jake from Hill Hounds almost 4 years ago. Tammy was so informative and helpful in process from start to finish. She made sure that Jake would be in a loving home and made sure we were committed to Jakes care. I would refer any friend or family looking to open their home to a pet on need to Hill Hounds for sure.
