Humane Society Of Cambria County - Johnstown Pet Shelter
The Humane Society of Cambria County aims to provide a second chance for the abandoned, surrendered, and stray animals of Cambria County through the means of a no-kill philosophy and quality of life policy, our volunteer and foster programs, animal control services, a spay and neuter requirement, our veterinarian relationships, animal training assistance, a vetted adoption process, responsible pet ownership, and, most importantly, the human-and-animal bond.
Here are the steps to bringing home a new companion from the Humane Society of Cambria County: 1. Find a companion. 2. Ask to meet with your potential new companion in one of our visitation rooms or outdoor play areas. 3. Complete an adoption application. 4. Submit the application to one of our Adoption Counselors. 5. Note: If you have a child or already have a pet in your household, you will be asked to bring them to meet your potential new companion prior to adoption. 6. If a connection is made, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to schedule your adoption pick up.

I FORGOT TO ADD HOW BOTH TIMES I WAS THERE HOW RUDE THEY WHERE JESSICA DIRECTOR DEMEANOR WAS TERRIBLE!!!!! SHOULD NEVER NEVER BE WORKING AT THIS PLACE OR NEEDS TO BE WROTE WARNING NOT TO HAVE THIS HAPPEN AGAIN TO ANYONE ELSE

very disappointed went theRE twice and was very very rude that's a shame when you just want to give an animal a good home I GAVE 2 VETS FOR REFERENCE ALSO SHOW WESTERN PLEASURE HORSE WITH MY HUSBAND WHY WOULD I GIVE 2 VETS AS REFERENCE IF I WAS NOT SURE HOW THEY KNOW HOW GOOD MY HUSBSND AND I TAKE CARE OF OUR HORSE DOgS AND CATS THE SHOTS TO SHOW A HORSE IS ALOT ALL IS DONE AND READY FOR SHOWING IN ANY STATE I WAS AND MY HUSBAND WAS VERY DISPPOINTED HOW CRUEL YOU WHERE TO ME I THINK EXCEPTION COULD HAVE BEEN MADE AFTER TAKING TO VET ON MY PHONE TEARS DID CREAT A A REASON FOR ME TO BE ASK TO LEAVE AND WAS NOT LOUD IT WAS NOT MY FAULT THE VET DID THE MIX UP AND YOU COULD HAVE DONE AN EXCEPTION BECAU OF THIS I Am HURT BE ON BElief AND IT WAS ONE OF MY WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE ALONE TIME AGO I DID ADOPT A DOg wAS DOG At CAMBRIA SINCE THEN I ADOPED A 1 EYE DOG FROM SOMERSET HUMANE GAVE HIM TO ME ON THE SP0T
