Lawns to Laps Cat Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal welfare organization in Kearny NJ. Our mission is to decrease the euthanasia rates of cats in municipal shelters in our community by participating in Trap-Neuter Return efforts, especially in municipalities in which the cost of spay/neuter is a deterrent to community participation; pulling under-socialized cats from municipal shelters, rehabilitating them, and securing permanent homes for them; fostering and securing permanent homes for stray cats and kittens; and educating the public regarding pet ownership, TNR, feral colony care, and alternatives to pet surrender.
