Save Animals From Euthanasia - Harrison Pet Shelter
S.A.F.E. (Save Animals From Euthanasia/Experimentation) is a volunteer non-profit group based in Harrison, Michigan. We rescue adoptable animals from the Clare County Animal Shelter, get their shots up to date, spay/neuter them if they are old enough, get them health certified, dewormed, and heartworm & flea immunized before adopting them out to responsible families. Once an animal is saved by S.A.F.E., it is fostered until the right family is found to find the perfect home.

My brother and sister in law recently had to have their husky put to sleep and are so lost without him. They live in Whitehall, MI. but my sister in law is originally from Harrison where most of her family still live.
They haven’t officially begun a search for another dog but know if the right one came along they would be so happy.
My brother indicated that he would like a malamute next time and I notice a beautiful one on your site for adoption. Perhaps he is not in your agency at this time and is simply a photo you use, but I know my brother and his wife would love another dog just like him/her.
Thank you for all you do. We are in the process of adoption right now through S.A.F.E. and will be elated when we finally get our new fur baby to her forever home.
